mameou – You’re right about that it all comes down to the boss. I believe that induction skill is really what make a leader a true leader. However, that contagious disease won’t spread easily. People has their own immunity, a.k.a. purpose, in working. Some want fame, some want money, and some just to follow the standard social life cycle. Not everybody want to make the world a better place (for example).

You actually made me recall this word “evangelist“, which I knew from Guy Kawasaki’s blog.

To answer your last sentence, I think it starts with yourself, the boss. Passion is contagious. If you’re passionate about your project, you can induce your teammates to be passionate about it, too.
